Question: Why sell (and buy) my books on Eduboox?
Answer: The reasons are simple. Eduboox is quick, easy, and especially designed for all students in the Netherlands. Making an account, posting your books and see all the offerings is for FREE. The prices students ask for their books are often the cheapest available.
Question: How do I sell my textbook?
Answer: Selling a book on the Eduboox website is easy. This list will detail the steps one takes from posting the book to selling the book.
* Step 1: Register
In order to sell your books on the Eduboox website, you first need to register an account. You can create an account for free. On the ‘My Account’ page you can fill out your personal information that is necessary to register and sell your book.
* Step 2: Post your book
On the ‘Sell’ page you can fill out the necessary book information, such as the title, author, ISBN number, condition, asking price, faculty, study, etc.). Filling out all information fields will increase the odds that visitors find and buy your textbook.
* Step 3: Physical Transaction
When somebody is interested in your textbook, he or she will contact you through the Eduboox website to arrange the physical transaction of the book and the money. Our approach will ensure that you can actually see the book and its physical condition, before buying it. The seller needs to become full member first before he or she gets the contact information of the buyer. Full membership costs €9,95 per year and enables a member to sell books without paying any other commission what so ever. Next to the selling without paying commission, full members get special discounts.
Question: What is and where can I find the ISBN number?
Answer: The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a 10 or 13-digit number that uniquely identifies books and book-like products published internationally. Every ISBN consists of ten or thirteen digits and whenever it is printed it is preceded by the letters ISBN. Most often it can be found on the back of the book. Some ISBN numbers end with an X.
Question: How can I change my textbook offerings?
Answer: You can change your book offering(s) easily via your personal account on the ‘My Account’ page. Here you can change the details of your offerings and/or remove the books you have sold.
Question: How can I sell my summaries?
Answer: Selling a summary on the Eduboox website is easy. This list will detailthe steps one takes from listing the summary to selling the summary.
* Step 1: Register
In order to sell your summaries on the Eduboox website, you first need to register an account. You can create an account for free. On the ‘MyAccount’ page you can fill out your personal information that is necessary to register and sell your summary.
* Step 2: Post your summary
On the 'Sell' page you can fill out the necessary summary information, such as the writer, course, book title, author, condition, asking price, faculty,study, etc.). Filling out all information fields will increase the odds that visitors find and buy your textbook.
* Step 3: Physical Transaction
When somebody is interested in your summary, he or she will contact you through the Eduboox website to arrange the physical transaction of the summary and the money. Our approach will ensure that you can actually seethe summary and its physical condition, before buying it.
Question: How does the buying process work?
Answer: Purchasing a book on the Eduboox website is easy. This list will detail the steps one takes from finding the book to getting the book in your hands.
* Step 1: Find the book
Use the search field on the lower-left side of the website or visit the ‘Buy’ page, and type in the book information (i.e. author, title, ISBN) you are looking for. Pressing ‘search’ will bring you to a list of search results (please note that searching for an ISBN yields more accurate results than the title alone).
* Step 2: View the book
Clicking on a book in the search results will bring you to a page with more details on that particular book (e.g. asking price and condition).
* Step 3: Contact the seller
If you found a book that you are interested in, you can click on the buy button. At that moment the seller will receive an email that tells the seller that somebody is interested in his or her book. The seller needs to become a full member in order to receive your contact information. At the moment the seller becomes a full member the seller receives your contact information and will contact you for seller the book.
Question: I cannot find the right book in the database?
Answer: In case the book you are looking for is not (yet) listed in the database, you can add this book for free to the Wanted List. By adding your book to the Wanted List, sellers can see that this book is wanted, which will increase the odds that this book will be posted. When the books listed in your Wanted List are posted, you will receive a free e-mail notification.
Question: How can I advertise on the Eduboox website?

Question: Which different forms of advertisements exist?
Answer: Eduboox offers two options. Either you can opt for placing a banner on a preferred place on our website as indicated below or one can opt to advertise under specific sections like ‘career’ (for placing of announcements for internships or business courses) or ‘discounts’ (for student-related promotional activities).
